The Sustainable Innovation Forum was an international climate action conference held on December 6, 2012, in Doha, Qatar. Organized by Climate Action in partnership with UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme), it brought together global leaders, policymakers, innovators, and climate advocates to discuss and advance climate solutions and sustainable development.

Over 500 delegates from 100+ countries participated, including government officials, corporate executives, climate scientists, researchers, NGO representatives, and sustainability advocates. Speakers and participants represented diverse sectors including energy, environment, technology, and policy.

Key themes included renewable energy transition, carbon reduction strategies, sustainable development, innovation in climate technology, and global collaboration on environmental protection. The forum focused on practical solutions and actionable commitments for climate change mitigation.

Participants announced significant renewable energy investments, carbon reduction targets, and new strategic partnerships. Over $50 billion in green energy investments were committed, along with commitments to net-zero carbon goals and sustainable development initiatives.
